The six-week Colorado Music Festival summer performance season calls Boulder’s Chautauqua Auditorium home, with its world-class festival orchestra led by Peter Oundjian. From June through August, expect the first hearing of a new composition by renowned composer Matthew Aucoin on June 30, or the premiere of soprano Renee Fleming in the two-act opera “Girl of the Golden West.”

In September, dance music fans will gather at Denver’s Empower Field at Mile High for a three-day Electronic Music Showcase. The event offers a stellar lineup of DJs, with sets from Remi Wolf and Claude Vonstroke among others.
